Here is what else I found yesterday. This year has been very good to me. I have found over 31 pounds as of today. Yesterday was 8lb with another 4lb 10oz today.
Dead Elms and Apple trees seem to be working best, though I have really hit it in young Aspen ( Poplar ) groves as well. A really produtive place has been rows of trees dividing two fields, over and over this type of area seems to be working for me. I hope everyone else is doing well out there.

Good luck
