a bonus this year

while my son and i were shrooming in a patch of woods a couple of miles behind my home we found a patch of virginia blue bells.i have never seen these in the woods before and was amazed at their color.we dug a small patch and transplanted them into a flower bed at the house.hopefully they'll survive and spread.
here's part of the patch.

I found a big patch of them also this year but didn't bring any home with me and have been kicking myself ever since

they will survive and probably spread some also. dug some for mom several years ago. tom
