Hi fellow 'shroom finders

Hello gang,
Glad to become a member of this club! I have found lots of FUNGI and love to find new kinds that are choice.
I live in Jackson County and I found 90 morels, several giant Chicken Mushrooms, lots of Alcohol Inky Caps and 1 pound of fresh Golden Chants in Jackson this year.
Today we went to Grand Rapids and found a pound of Elm Tree Bolets' and some Salmon Waxy Caps in the wetland portion of the Game Forest.
I am retired and have lots of time to look for 'shrooms and I am highly anticipating some rain so the rest of the Chants, pearshaped and Gem Stud puffers will pop.
I'm real glad to be a member of this fine club and I intend to be an active member. Yeaaaaaaaaaay Shroooooomers!!!

Happy hunting, Brian

Welcome to our little corner of the internet Brian! We are happy to have you. Sounds like you have had a pretty good year so far. :) Do you hunt hens and chickens (sulphur shelfs) also?

Debbie

Welcome aboard, Brian! You will definitely be glad you joined up. A cornucopia of info can be found here. But hey...Stay out of Grand Rapids! Those are my stomping grounds! I don't need the competition. Just kidding, man! Welcome aboard!
