First pic is one of three grocery bags I filled:

Second is some of the buttons that we pulled out to stuff and bake. The rest were dehydrated. Wish I had more pictures. I am having camera issues and that's the wife's camera I used.

Great find, sounds like they are tasty! Just did a little reasearch on these and I think I would need some help from the experienced hunters before I would try them on my own. Mike

Mike,

you got my number!

Wait til the next rain. Then a couple of days later check the rural yards that have spruce. I am literally seeing shaggy parasols all over C and D Ave, even today.

This is actually a fairly easy mushroom to ID. It has a bad look alike (green spored lepiota...Chlorophyllum molybdites), and they are also abundant, but I think we could ID em.

Very nice Ed. I checked my patch last week and nothing but I am finding the other parasol so It looks like it's time for sure.
