Remember When...

Remember when....
Fri and sat nites was THE nites to be online late?

Remember when....
We used to talk all night long?

Remember when....
We used to visit about anything and everything? Day and nite?

Remember when....
We had Campfire talks, and made everyone hungry?

Remember when....
We came to just visit and not argue?

Remember when....
The amount of post we made, didn't matter?
We only replied to post that we had something to actually offer? (unless in a chat thread)

Remember when....
In those visit, a LOT of info was passed about mushrooms?

Remember ...All those years past?

Do you remember those 1st two in dire need?

Remember when....
When Ginny and Brittany both were at life's door at the same time?

Remember when....
God answered prayers for both?

Remember when....
Britany was our "Princess" on the board? (She still is)

Remember when....
Miracles still happened, because of honest faith, prayers and belief?

Remember when....
people didn't come to argue? Or to stir up other members?

Remember when....
We all came just to gather, and talk. Friend to friend?

Remember when....
DGBAY's keyboard taking a dive, and making us all laugh at her erractic typing?

Do you remember DGBAY?...

I want to get this board back to that old spirit.
Please help me out with this.
Please conduct youselves in a friendly manner, in all respects to other members.

Please do not post something "Just to stir the pot" and then argue with the responders. NOT COOL!
I will continue trying to keep it friendly, and family friendly as well.
That's my intent.

Your friend,

Re: Remember When...

Ah yes, I remember it well. I remember getting up in the morning and having that first cup of coffee; turning on the PC; "meeting" up with Debbie and Justapicken; and reading post after post from the "owls". Ah yes, I remember it well.

Maybe all that was in need was a freindly reminder post. Very nice Frank. Kinda reminded me of Alan Jacksons song. (Remember When).

I think we should all try to be on our best behavoir here. It is the most respected place I know of on the net. It holds a great big piece of my heart, and has brought me many memorable lifelong freinds.
Acually, I'm still doing the (Quick check in) here and there. Grabbing a coffee first thing in the morning, before the kids get up and see whos here.

Re: Remember When...

Yes Frank I remember and what a good time it was getting on with the owls late into the night.Good discussions, humor and the bonding that went on will forever be in my heart. The friends one can make here will last a life time.I agree with Brad on trying to be on our best behavior.I can't get on as late as the owls used to but am anxious in the mornings to grab a cup of joe and get on the site to see whats went on.This is my favorite site and always will be and I think we should all do what we can to keep it the warm and friendly place it's always been...
