How are they for slicers miker? I like my slicers small and firm. I don't care for them when they are too large or too juicy. In other words I like to rub off the spines and eat them, or slice them and put into vinager, water, salt and pepper.

Good Frank, when you catch em in the 3 to 4 inch range, but you have to be on top of em, as they can blow up quick to 3 inches around and 8 inches long, mike

Is there any such thing as a cuke that will remain small. In the 3 to 5 inch range?
Or a very slow grower?

Post it when you find it miker. I appreciate it. i don't like large cukes.
Raw or pickled. Well.... not entirely true. I still eat them regularly. LOL
But I like the texture and flavor of the young small ones best.

Have a quick question for you guys. I usually get me seeds from Gurneys, www.gurneys.com. Why is Reimer Seeds better? Do they offer more or have better prices? I'm not always sold on what I get from Gurneys, and they seems a little expensive, which is why I normally buy right now when they offer discounts and coupons. Thanks.

Ron, reimers offers alot of hard to find seeds, that are usually well priced for the quantity, I usually rely on Gurneys and Henry Fields for my bulk seed orders, beans, corn, seed tapes, etc, can't beat their prices on the bulk, mike
