Horse...

Here are my "horses." Yellow staining flesh. No volva. Found in hard packed grassy area in a park. A few near some oaks. A couple more near a spruce tree. Mature cap had chocolate brown gills that left dark brown spores on my hands. As you can see the gills in these are white to pink. Also note the large ring. I'm 99.9% sure these are horse.

Be careful...no horse should have white gills. Pinky when young turning brown with age. White could be a sign of danger. The white in your pics looks like the veil therefor OK.

Good point, Jim. I certainly don't want to end up poisoned. However, these are my first. Take a look at the center picture, second mushroom in from the left. There is a small gap in the veil. Tough to see but that is the lightest color of the gills. Not a pure/brilliant white but certainly not pink like the more mature mushroom picture.
