Through my windshield

I will attempt to take some photos during my travels during the spring and summer and maybe fall. Mostly I want to photograph the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but I may throw  in some photos of various places in the northern Lower part of Michigan too.  Whatever.  This is "just for fun" pages.

If long trips bore you, or if you hate photo's with the road in almost every picture, or if the pages take too long to load, then this isn't for you. Go take your own road trip. (Just kidding)  I do want you to know that these pages have absolutely nothing to do with mushroom hunting.  And no, I won't tell you what I do for a living, other than I do a lot of driving in some very beautiful country.   Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.

Don't expect to see anything that resembles a photo being taken on purpose.  Remember this:  I am holding a very small camera with one hand and literally "pointing and shooting" at scenes I like.  I don't look through the viewfinder because I am still driving at the time of the shutter snap.  I don't have time to stop and get out to take a photograph using better techniques. So now you know why I call it "Through the windshield".

Spot a glaring error? (I do make them)   E-mail me with the correction.  Or if you have some more information on an area or photo, please e-mail me also.  I am very interested in learning more of it.               Thanks, Frank
